In celebration of our third issue, we have teamed up with the fabulous, Swank Lighting for our biggest giveaway yet! Swank Lighting was born when founders, Ed Sexton and Doug Taylor stumbled upon a veritable treasure trove of lamps from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s made by some of the finest Venetian artisans. They bought the entire lot immediately and Swank Lighting was created. In 2008, they broadened their business to include Swank Studio, a line of modern, original designs including pieces by designer Joe Cariati, along with their Rock Candy and recycled glass designs. Absolutely stunning!!! We’re moving very overseas soon, selling off most of our things before we go. I’m so excited to start designing my home once we get there. It would be an absolute dream for me to win these lamps. With four children, my own style often must come second to being practical and meeting their wants and needs. Finally, I recently updated our master bedroom with Tiffany blue paint and a beautiful mirrored vanity. I recently got married and designed our bedding with Hotel Collection bedding with the “Rings” pattern in cream with the accent color matching these lamps perfectly. We made a headboard out of Wall Flats in a chrysalis pattern only complementing the circles in the bedding and commissioned artwork on the adjacent wall. We have a platform storage bed and floating shelves as night stands that are begging for those fabulous lamps! They would be the icing on the perfect master retreat cake…

This lamp(s) and the 3 foot New Muranos are my favorites. I would put them in bedroom now to offset the grey, antique golds and woods and later in living room to bring out blues in paintings and my single robins egg blue tufted mid-century chair. Love love love these.
These are remarkable. I would put them in the reception area of my studio so that clients could enjoy them and I would be reminded of my time living in Italy. Artists are materialists with souls, and so the pair would be cherished (or envied) daily.
These would go amazingly well in my living room that I’m styling in teal/aqua and a coraly red, flanking my (soon-to-be) charcoal gray couch!

I absolutely love these lamps; both the color and shape! Our bedroom has a lot of grey and blue but we purchased a stencil drawing when my husband and I were vacationing in the carribean last year that is simply of the ocean waves. The color combination moves from deep blue to a turquoise that is a shade lighter than these lamps. It is my focus in the room (it relaxes me and I dream of going back one day…) and these lamps would be the perfect accent piece to accompany this artwork and colors in the room. I am in the process of remodeling my house in Alaska that we bought a year ago. These beautiful lamps would be a beautiful addition to my more rustic type decor . The color reminds me of the glaciers that we visited on Monday and the crystal clear water below them. It also reminds me of my upbringing on the shores of Lake Erie where you can collect beach glass of the same color!

I live in a home built by Henry Ford (yes, that guy). Oh, High Gloss! These are the ONLY lamps on earth that would complete the living room recently remodeled by my friends, Teresa and Martin. They tore the room down to the studs and created a gorgeous haven with hickory floors, hand-plastered walls and ceiling, a new bronze fireplace surround with a marble hearth, beautiful pilasters, an over-mantle mirror, hand-made windows and doors, and more. The walls are a rich chocolate brown set off with a creamy white ceiling and trim. The accent colors? The rich oranges of the ancient rock formations in Arches National Park in Utah and the serene turquoise blue of those incomparable Murano glass lamps from Swank!
I LOVE these! I have been searching the internet for weeks for a pair of these to put on my grandmother’s antique buffet to flank a cool geometric mirror in my foyer. Just put the finishing touches on the matte and gloss geometric stencil on the feature wall behind the buffet…all in neutrals except for the touches of turquoise that these lamps would provide. I have GOT to have these!!! Perfect to tie the accent color to my other rooms. Wow…gorgeous!

The thought of having just one of these lamps in my home is a dream, let alone two! The entire New Murano collection is breathtaking. These would be so beautiful in our master bedroom and would completely make the room.
I am a big believer in recycle and re-use. My living room is filled with treasures that I have obtained at tag sales, inherited and reupholstered (I couldn’t let my grandma’s sofa with so many wonderful memories go to the dump where she wanted it to go) and I buy my “new” furniture from a lady who rescues wonderful well used pieces and then has them completely restored – I love the fact that Swank uses recycled glass – the color and design couldn’t be MORE perfect with my yellow, and blue green color scheme. I plan to pass along all of my recycled treasures to my children, so they will stay with me until that day, hopefully, many years from now!

I live in Key West Fla and those Stunning Lamps look like the ocean I’m surrounded by every day, so I’m going to separate them and bring one out ide and put it in my Pergola when I have a dinner party so my guest will love the glow of the ocean color and put one up the keys in our Family’s beach house because its going to bring the ocean color inside …
My favorite of all the lighting Swank makes is the New Murano Creamy White Three Foot lamp.
It has such a sexy shape and the color will always be in style even generations from now. Such a beauty!
These would go on each side of my bed! ANother favorite from Swank: Classic Edwin Cole for Stiffel Wood and Brass Table Lamps 1950s!!!
These lamps are perfect in many ways, color, style and size for my night stands in the master bedroom. I haven’t found anything I like as well
Oh, my, goodness, these would be AMAZEBALLS on the console in my dining room. I’ve been trying to get more turquoise accents in there, and these are gorgeous!!!

We are in the process of building a new home. These Murano Glass Lamps would be perfect for our great room. It would give the room some color. They would look beautiful next to our brown leather couch!

LOVE these beautiful lamps! They belong on the nightstands in my new greige bedroom. They’d provide the perfect dose of bold turquoise that I’ve been craving!
We move into a new house any day now (if they push close back one more day I’m going to scream!) – and I think I would put these in our master bedroom. I feel like the master is always the last to get decorated – and I don’t want to neglect ours so this time I want to decorate it first.
My wish list. My new lamps and red coral accessories on top of the side tables, soft dove gray couch, tufted footrest on top of one of the hand painted nautilus shell rugs that I design and create in the sunroom.
Our little over-the-water lakehouse is all shades of blues — teal, turquoise, aqua. From the tile to the rugs to the bedding — we love blue! But we are missing bedside lamps! THESE ARE PERFECT!!
These lamps took my breath away and although I usually don’t go around entering blog giveaways these STOPPED me in my tracks. We just painted our living room (beautiful blue/gray) and are now looking for fabrics and accessories….these lamps would be stunning. I adore these lamps. I would put them on either side of my bed as I am seeking to highlight the garnets and corals in my room with a pop of blue like this. I adore these! Have I said that? Murano glass makes me think of my time in Italy, which has been the best time in my life.

I am in love with these lamps! They are stunning and would look perfect in my living room, sky blue is my fave for a pop of color. My other favorite from Swank Lighting are the three stacked balls of vanilla Murano glass with controlled bubbles and 24kt gold inclusion. So beautiful!

Great fan of Murano Glass. These lamps are beautiful and capture the color and beauty of this venetian art form. Building a home in Saugatuck, MI on the lake, decorated in 60′s style. Lamps are perfect to add color and style to a home that will be a year round sanctuary for many. Great opportunity of a lifetime to have Murano Glass in your home.
I have to have these lamps! One of my favorite pair. I would put them in my bedroom on the side tables. They would be PERFECT!
From the second I saw them, I pictured these STUNNING lamps in my master bedroom — which I’m in the very beginning stages of pulling together. The room is going to be done in neutral colored linen, white, super-pale blue and (what I like to call) Statue of Liberty green. Fingers crossed that I can use these as the first piece of the puzzle!

These are beautiful! I would put them on the side tables next to our bed – a definite upgrade from our dorm lamps that are hanging out there now!
I would put these beautiful lamps in my dream library. They would sit on dark wood coffee tables on both sides of a pure white couch that would be centered in front of floor to ceiling windows with the same colored silk drapes. The walls would be painted cherry red and there would be floor to ceiling bookshelves on both sides of the room alternating with floor to ceiling windows when entering. The floor would be a dark wood with a fluffy white area rug in the center.
